And among all those fans are some famous faces from the world of music and showbiz.

New England Patriots and Philadelphia Eagles are no different, and both will be cheered on by some of the biggest stars on the planet in Minneapolis.

Will Smith (Eagles)

The Fresh Prince himself. They don’t come much bigger than the Hollywood icon that is 49-year-old Philadelphia native Will Smith.

After Philly beat Minnesota to reach the Super Bowl, Smith tweeted a throwback image of him wearing an Eagles jersey on The Fresh Prince of Bel Air.

Mark Wahlberg (Patriots)

There’s nobody more Boston than actor Mark Wahlberg. He even starred in the film Patriots Day about the Boston Marathon bombings in 2013.

The 46-year-old was at the Super Bowl last year to witness New England’s dramatic comeback against Atlanta.

Matt Damon (Patriots)

Born across the river from Boston in Cambridge, the 47-year-old actor is one of Tom Brady’s biggest fans.

When asked his Super Bowl prediction recently, he said: “It’s going to be the Patriots and the team that loses.”

Elton John (Patriots)

Since performing a gig at Gillette Stadium to herald the start of the 2004 NFL season, the British musician has quite a close relationship with Patriots owner Robert Kraft.

Another Philadelphia native, the 43-year-old actor was at Lincoln Financial Field to watch the NFC Championship Game thrashing of Minnesota.
