AMERICA is gearing up for the biggest event in its sporting calendar with the Super Bowl taking place on February 4.
The Philadelphia Eagles and the New England Patriots will battle through the regular season and then the playoffs to reach the final showdown, where the best team in the NFL will be crowned.
American Football’s popularity over this side of the Atlantic has sky-rocketed in recent years, with four games played in London this year.
But if you’re here in the UK, where can you go to watch it with like-minded Gridiron fans?
Where can I watch it in London?
IF you don’t fancy staying in and watching the game on the Beeb, you have a raft of options.
There are plenty of ways to catch the biggest game in the NFL calendar in the capital, with more events being organised all the time.
Bars such as Roundhouse and Belushi’s are offering food and drink packages, giving football fans the fuel they’ll need to make it through to the early hours.
Whilst Joe’s in Covent Garden will be the place to be if you want to mix with Americans who actually know what is going on during the game.
And if you make it through to half-time, you’ll be treated to Justin Timberlake playing his first Super Bowl show since 2004 and THAT Janet Jackson wardrobe malfunction.
What time will it kick-off?
THIS years Super Bowl will be held at the impressive US Bank Stadium in Minneapolis.
It will take place on Sunday February 4, 2018.
The exact kick-off time will be revealed at a later date – but the game will go on well past midnight GMT.
