JUBILANT Team GB sipped champagne and burst into song as they enjoyed a glorious flight back home.
Medal winners got the star treatment as they were seated in business class – those without, as well as team officials, were stuck in economy on the British Airways flight to Heathrow.

A 67-medal performance in Rio was the the team's best performance in more than a century - and arguably the best EVER.
GB finished second in the medal table, behind the USA, after their 366 athletes won 27 gold, 23 silver and 17 bronze.
That was only the second time GB had finished in the top two in the medal table and their best performance overseas .
The previous time GB had finished in the top three was at London 2012 and all the way back at London 1908 - the only time GB has topped the medal table.
On a victorious British Airways flight home - the plane complete with a gold nose - athletes toasted to their success as the booze flowed.
Some athletes even broke into a rendition of God Save the Queen as the anthem was played out over the tannoy upon arrival at Heathrow.
The squad, as well as staff, were greeted by friends, family and hundreds of fans at Heathrow.

But being an Olympic gold medallist doesn't leave you immune to the usual travel problems.
Every single Team GB suitcase was exactly the same - and after the athletes landed they had to sift through hundreds of bags to find the right one.
The entrance was not too glam though as the athletes had to walk across the tarmac and on to a series of busses to make their way back into the terminal.
The closing ceremony took place in the rain on a stormy night in Brazil - and the Brits even dazzled there, as they wore jazzy FLASHING trainers .
