OLYMPIC spectators have been doing a double take after spotting a female athlete who looks uncannily like the Duchess of Cambridge.
French cyclist Pauline Ferrand-Prevot has been dubbed Kate’s doppelganger thanks to her cheeky dimples, flawless skin and almond-shaped eyes.
The 24-year-old, who came 26th in the women’s road race final, may be 10 years younger than Prince William’s wife but the similarities are easy to see when looking at the pair side-by-side.
Pauline and Kate have a strikingly similar bone structure, their eyes are alike and how they wear their make-up is identical, too.
Their smile and dimples look the same, and even their nose and face shape is comparable.
While Pauline sports slightly lighter brunette locks than the Duchess, the pair both wear their hair in similar styles.
Pauline made a name for herself after being the first person in the history of cycling to hold the world road title, world cyclo-cross title and world mountain bike title at the same time.

But Pauline isn’t the first Olympic athlete to be compared to a famous face.
Earlier this week, Brady Ellison, one of the world’s top archers, has been noticed for his striking resemblance to Leonardo DiCaprio.
The 27-year-old, who bagged a silver medal, was competing in Rio alongside his team mates Zach Garrett and Jacob Linde-Kaminski in his third Olympic Games.
Eagle-eyed fans took to Twitter and joked about their resemblance.
“Leo DiCaprio enjoying some time off from acting to play archery in the Rio Olympics,” one fan tweeted.
“Many don’t know, but Brady Ellison is actually Leonardo DiCaprio’s alter-ego,” another wrote.
