David Moyes’ side lost 1-0 as they succumbed to an 88th-minute winner from Josh King that gifted Eddie Howe’s men the three points that lifted them up into the top of half of the Premier League table into tenth spot.

In contrast, the result condemned the North East club to relegation to the Sky Bet Championship with four games left to play in the top flight.

Moyes is set to quit as boss following their disastrous campaign as they sit rock bottom in 20th spot.
