TOM BRADY dismissed talk of the Patriots taking the Texans lightly in their playoff clash on Saturday as “ridiculous”.
New England are overwhelming favourites to beat Houston and advance to the AFC Championship Game next week.
But the four-time Super Bowl winner expects one of the toughest challenges the Patriots have faced all year.
Brady said: “I’m preparing like this is the hardest game we’ve faced all season, which it will be, and it means the most.
“I don’t see any letdown from us. That’s ridiculous to think that.
“All of my attention is focused on Saturday night and getting prepared for that moment so that we can go out and play with anticipation and confidence against the best defence we’ve played all season. There’s nothing easy about it.”
Texans quarterback Brock Osweiler has been a disappointment since signing a £59m contract in the summer.
He said: “I don’t think there’s ever been a successful NFL season that didn’t have adversity somewhere in that season.“I couldn’t be more excited about the opportunity at hand to truly write a great ending to this story.”
