Toni Martinez chills out in ice bath as West Ham win Austria friendly after Southampton hot up Darren Randolph chase

WEST HAM’S new striker Toni Martinez has been keeping cool in an ice bath on the club’s tour of Austria.

The £2.4million former Valencia starlet sat out as Slaven Bilic‘s team drew 2-2 with Czech Republic outfit FC Slovacko but is more than likely to feature against Rubin Kazan when the Hammers play their second game in two days.

But while Martinez chills out, Hammers keeper Darren Randolph is hot property as Southampton plan a £2million swoop for the Republic of Ireland international, 29.

Randolph, 29, is wanted for back-up to Fraser Forster and will compete for a first-team place if Everton move for the England keeper.

Randolph broke into the Hammers team last season and earned a place at the Euros in France.

West Ham will demand a £2million fee for the stopper they drafted in from Birmingham a year ago on a free transfer.

The former Motherwell man was not expecting to be in the line of fire at Euro 2016 but got the nod from boss Martin O'Neill when Shay Given was crocked.

He conceded four goals in the first two group matches against Sweden and then Belgium.

But he kept a vital clean sheet as The Boys in Green sneaked out of the group with a famous 1-0 win over Italy, before falling to hosts France in the last-16 stage.
