VINCENT JANSSEN finally opened his account for Tottenham as Christian Eriksen and Erik Lamela inspired Spurs to a 5-0 win over Gillingham in their EFL Cup third round clash.
Playmaker Eriksen started the rout in the first half before finding the back of the net minutes into the second 45.

Janssen then proved there’s life after Harry Kane when he coolly slotted home a penalty, with youngster Josh Onomah also getting on the scoresheet.
Lamela, who had provided three assists, also fired home as Mauricio Pochettino’s men ran riot, and Tottenham will be hoping the win stands them in good stead for their Premier League trip to Middlesbrough on Saturday.
