Dele Alli injury: Tottenham star ruled out of England’s international fixtures against Germany and Brazil with minor hamstring problem

DELE ALLI has been ruled out of England’s friendlies against Germany and Brazil in November due to a hamstring injury.

The 21-year-old has been forced to withdraw from the Three Lions squad after picking up the minor knock.

Tottenham tweeted earlier today that Alli will play no part in Sunday’s clash against Crystal Palace at Wembley.

They said: “TEAM NEWS: @Vorm_Official (knee) and @dele_official (hamstring) both miss out at Wembley today.”

Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino said in a statement: “Dele suffered a minor injury in his hamstring after the Real Madrid game.”

This was followed up by England‘s official account revealing the ex-MK Dons star will miss this month’s international fixtures.

England tweeted: “Squad update: the #ThreeLions will be without @dele_official for this month’s games. Get well soon, Dele!”

Alli looks to have paid the price after starring against Los Blancos on Wednesday night, as he bagged a brace as the Lilywhites cruised to a 3-1 victory.

Gareth Southgate has not yet named a replacement for Alli in the England side, but it could be good news for Arsenal ace Jack Wilshere as he looks for a recall back into the national team.

Germany will come up against the 1966 World Cup winners on Friday, November 10, with Brazil facing Southgate’s side the following Tuesday.
