The 17-year-old has been eyed by a number of clubs, including Manchester United and PSG.

But Spurs have fought off competition to land the young winger, who has been compared to Gareth Bale.

According to the reliable Paris United, PSG have been told Sessegnon will not join them when the transfer window opens.

It is understood the talented teenager wants to stay in London, and be close to family and friends.

And it is believed he will move to Tottenham when the season finishes at the end of this month.

He could then move back to Craven Cottage for the whole of the next campaign as part of the switch.

Sessegnon has scored 20 goals in 70 Championship matches for Fulham since breaking into the first-team last season.
