FORMER Sunderland defender DeAndre Yedlin has arrived in Newcastle for talks with the Championship side ahead of a £5million move from Tottenham.
The Spurs ace flew to the north-east on Wednesday and was in attendance for the Magpies’ EFL Cup clash at home to Cheltenham.
USA international defender Yedlin will then undergo a medical before the move is finalised.
The 23-year-old, who is primarily a right-back but can also play in midfield, spent last season on-loan at the Magpies’ bitter rivals Sunderland.
