TYSON FURY continued his pledge to help the unfortunate and mentally fragile by handing a beggar £10 – despite being hit with a parking ticket on his £250,000 motor.
The Gypsy King returns to the ring on June 9 to take on Albanian cruiserweight Sefer Seferi after a two-year-and-seven-month absence.
Mental health problems and drug use contributed to the 29-year-old’s hiatus and he is using his social media accounts to offer support and advice to fellow sufferers.
Fury – who has lost around seven stone after ballooning during his plight – was on a lunch date with beautiful wife Paris that cost him more than the food bill.
The 6ft 9in switch-hitter left the San Carlo restaurant in Manchester when he was approached by a bedraggled fellow.
And the undefeated former heavyweight champion of the world swiftly whipped out a note and handed it over.
And once he returned to his black Rolls Royce Phantom, he found a parking ticket on his dashboard to add to his expenses.
Fury’s summer return is one of a handful his promoter Frank Warren wants him to come through before challenging for world titles again.
And he insists he is doing it for more than his fighting family name this time around.
Fury said: “The landscape has changed because before I was boxing for me and my family.
“Well now, I’m a testament for people with mental health, the oppressed, the depressed, all those people who aspire to me and look to me for motivation.

“How can I let these people down?
“I have to continue, I have to be that shining light in an era of darkness – I have to be there for them, I can’t let them down.
“I’m fighting for those people, to bring a smile to their face, a little bit of joy, a little bit of hope.
“Because if I can do it, they can do it.”
