TYSON FURY has sensationally revealed he has employed Ronnie O’Sullivan to be his sports psychologist ahead of his comeback bout in June.
The ‘Gypsy King’ was called out by the five-time Snooker World Champion this week with the 42-year-old wanting to spar the former unified heavyweight champion.
Fury is preparing for his first fight in nearly three years when he steps inside the ring at the Manchester Arena on June 9.
He claimed the WBA, WBO, IBF and IBO world titles in November 2015 after dethroning Wladimir Klitschko in his last outing.
And he has called upon the wisdom of new trainer Ben Davison as he plots his return to the pinnacle of boxing once again.
Speaking to Fight Hype, Fury said: “I’ve just employed Ronnie O’Sullivan as well.
“The snooker player, he’s going to help me with my mental side of things – sports psychology and all that – big shout out Ronnie, top guy and thanks for all the help.”
O’Sullivan has battled his own demons within the sporting world, and Fury believes he can benefit from the Arsenal fan.

He added: “Just bouncing ideas back and fourth with each other really helps. Sitting down with people who’s been through the traumatic experiences like I have, it’s been very educational.”
Speaking of his comeback, Fury said: “I’ve been working hard, training well and it’s mainly down to the inspiration of the fans – the love of the fans.
