CONOR McGREGOR has taken his mind games with Nate Diaz to the next level after gatecrashing his upcoming opponent’s appearance on Conan O’Brien’s TV chat show – and slating his choice of attire.
The fierce rivals will face off in a rematch at UFC 202 next month, with McGregor desperate to claim revenge after being choked out at UFC 196.
The pair have already been involved in a heated face off at a press conference in Las Vegas, and McGregor appears to be confident of getting the upper hand when the duo collide for a second time.
McGregor has been attempting to get under Diaz’s skin ever since their highly-anticipated fight was announced, and the Irishman has shown he will not stop in his quest to unsettle the American after interrupting his interview with comic O’Brien on Tuesday night.
Speaking in a recorded video message that was broadcast during the show, McGregor defiantly stated: “I just hope he’s not up on that stage wearing that stupid black t-shirt he’s never out of.
“The boy has been wearing that same damn t-shirt for the past 20 years or something.

“I’m taking this contest very, very seriously. I’ve flown in specific body types to replicate Nate’s skinny, tall frame.
“The boy won the lotto last time, he knows it, I know it… well August 20th I get my revenge and I look forward to it.”
But never one to back down, Diaz responded: “The truth came out – and it’s coming again. The truth will be on August 20th when it goes down again.”
But while McGregor has been enjoying celebrity visits from the likes of Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo and pop princess Jennifer Lopez, Diaz has bizarrely been defending McGregor from critics blasting the Irishman for requesting a second bite of the cherry.
Diaz told Whitlock 1-on-1: “If you don’t want to fight a guy who beat you, or show that you’re better than the guy everybody thinks is better than you, then I don’t know what you’re in this sport for.
“Because that’s what I’m in it for. That’s what I was in it for in the beginning – to let everyone know I’m the baddest dude there is. That I’m the baddest [expletive] there is.”
