CONOR McGregor has the chance to join the list of fighting great here in New York tonight.
McGregor takes on UFC lightweight champion Eddie Alvarez for the UFC lightweight title in the UFC’s first event to be staged at the iconic Madison Square garden.
If he wins, he’ll become the first athlete to hold world titles in two UFC weight classes at the same time.
But his isn’t the only huge fight on the card.
The co-main event sees a battle for the UFC welterweight title as Tyron Woodley puts his belt on the line against Stephen ‘Wonderboy’ Thompson.
And dominant women’s strawweight champion Joanna Jedrzejczyk will take on fellow undefeated Pole Karolina Kowalkiewicz in the night’s third world title fight.
Throw in a stellar cast of undercard fights and it all adds up to the most stacked fight card New York City has ever seen.
