UFC icon Conor McGregor is devastated by the attack in Las Vegas and is praying for the victims.
The MMA superstar made his boxing debut in Sin City in August and has had five of his UFC battles in America’s gambling Mecca.
The Irishman usually moves his life to Las Vegas for around a month before a fight, acclimatising and training in his adopted home.
And the terrifying gun attack left the new father – who has been partying in Glasgow – shaken.
The fighter said: “Absolutely devastated upon hearing the news in Las Vegas, a city with so much energy and life.
“A city of celebration and enjoyment, a city so close to my heart.
“I pray for all the victims, their families, and everyone affected by this senseless act of violence.”
UFC kingpin Dana White has pledged £750,000 to help victims of the tragic shooting and is aware the NFL is also digging deep.

McGregor’s boss has vowed to send one million dollars to the cause that is close to his heart.
The MMA brain said: “This is my city, this is my town, I grew up here, I raised my family here, all my friends live here, this is where my business is.
“What we are going to do is donate a million dollars — to the people and the families that are affected by this.
“It’s still too early, we will see what pops up over the next week but we’re going to cut that money up and donate to a bunch of different things that have to do with the tragedy or we’ll just give the whole million in one lump sum to the thing that everybody else is donating to — I know the NFL put up some money too.
“Let me tell you what, there’s enough money in Las Vegas for the people who live here — the businesses that thrive here to take care of its own, that’s the way I think it should be done.
“I think that every casino on the strip should dig-in and help, I think that businesses like mine and a lot of other people’s that do well here in Las Vegas can help.
“I’d say to the people outside of Las Vegas, don’t be afraid to come here.”
