Wantaway Chelsea star Diego Costa clowns around in a wig as his enforced Stamford Bridge exile continues

DIEGO COSTA’S ongoing Chelsea exile is clearly not getting him down – as seen in a video of him clowning around in Brazil.

The wantaway striker donned a multi-coloured wig to perform at a circus in hometown Lagarto.

NOT PICKED YOUR FANTASY FOOTBALL TEAM YET? WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR?

Premier League fans do not often get to see the fiery hitman’s lighter side as he usually turns into a snarling beast on the field.

But Costa is known for his love of training ground pranks and likes to let his hair down when he is not playing.

His summer so far has seen him partying in an Atletico Madrid shirt and driving quad bikes.

Chelsea boss Antonio Conte has informed the Spainish international he is no longer needed and told him not to return for pre-season.

But a move to Atleti is yet to materialise and Diego Simeone has so far refused to comment on the speculation.

Will Chelsea live to regret letting Diego Costa leave Stamford Bridge?

After beating Brighton 3-2, the Argie chief said: "I don't want to comment too much.

"The fact is he is still with Chelsea. The most important thing to me is the work of my club in general, not only in training.

"I have to work with what I have."
