Watch as pitch invader scores last-gasp equaliser at the exact same time as his team in Honduran league match – and amazingly the goal stood

THIS is the unfortunate moment a goalkeeper concedes a last-minute equaliser – against a pitch invader.

Football can be a funny old game and this clip proves that no amount of officials or video technology can get things right every single time.

The match is between Hoduran teams Olimpia and Motagua, with the latter set to pick up all three points in the Liga Nacional clash.

But as the clock ticks into the 93^rd minute, the home side Olimpia get the bit between their teeth and launch a do-or-die attack.

However, at the same time, a pitch invader decides to charge towards the Motagua goal from the other side of the field dribbling an identical football.

Olimpia finally work their way into the box and as they fire off a shot, so does the pitch invader.

Both balls go flying into the net from their different angles and incredibly the goal is given.

Motagua’s goalie then rushes towards the ref to make protest but the official isn’t interested in listening.

Rules dictate the play should have been stopped as soon as the pitch invader placed a foot on the grass, and Motagua have every right to feel aggrieved.
