THE big-fight atmosphere is beginning to build here in Manchester as the UK’s UFC fight fans descend on the city for the UFC 204 ceremonial weigh-ins.
The official weigh-ins took place earlier this morning, with all but one of the fighters successfully making weight ahead of their respective bouts this weekend.
The one fighter to miss out was Brit Ian Entwistle, who was taken ill during his weight cut and forced to withdraw from his bantamweight bout with Rob Font.
But the rest of the fighters hit their marks on the scale, including UFC middleweight champ Michael Bisping (185lbs) and challenger Dan Henderson (184lbs), who made their headline title fight official.
Now the fighters will face off for the final time at Manchester Central in front of a huge crowd of more than 5,000 fans as they complete their pre-fight formalities ahead of the biggest UFC event to hit the UK in years.
