West Brom fail with approach for Liverpool’s England Under-21 winger Jordon Ibe but might come back with long-term loan offer

WEST BROM have failed with an approach to land Jordon Ibe.

The Baggies asked about a deal for the Liverpool winger after his frustrating spell under Jurgen Klopp.

Liverpool could be prepared to offset that by including £10m-rated Ibe in a deal.

The 20-year-old started 12 Premier League games last season and has attracted interest from teams willing to offer regular first-team football.

Klopp will assess whether he needs the winger in his squad next season or if he will listen to offers.
