West Brom set to break club record to land Tottenham’s Nacer Chadli in a £13m deal
WEST BROM are set to complete the signing of Tottenham midfielder Nacer Chadli for a club record fee of around £13million.
The Belgium international will head to the Midlands to complete his medical on Monday before signing on the dotted line.
Baggies boss Tony Pulis said he wants five new players before the transfer window shuts on Wednesday and looks almost certain to wrap up a deal to land Chadli.
The 27-year-old has fallen out of favour under Mauricio Pochettino and failed to make the bench in each of their last three Premier League matches.
It was initially thought that Chadli would leave on loan but Pulis is prepared to splash the cash in a bid to bolster his squad.

The lack of attacking creativity was evident in West Brom's dire goalless draw with Middlesbrough and the manager is desperately looking to address the issue.
Chadli will become Pulis' third signing of the summer alongside Matt Phillips and Brendan Galloway.
The midfielder joined White Hart Lane for £7m from FC Twente three years ago after losing Gareth Bale to Real Madrid and has gone onto make 119 appearances for the club.
Elsewhere the future of striker Saido Berahino looks set to go right until the final moments of deadline day with West Brom not willing to sell until they find a replacement.
Berahino looked glum on the bench before being handed the last 20 minutes against Aitor Karanka's side.
