West Ham eye £30m-rated Barcelona star Rafinha but face competition from Inter Milan

WEST HAM are reportedly considering making a move for Barcelona’s £30million-rated star Rafinha – but face some competition.

Inter Milan are also sniffing around the 25-year-old Brazilian, but could struggle to match the La Liga side’s valuation.

Rafinha spent the second half of last season on loan with the Italian outfit, and it is believed he enjoyed his time in Serie A.

Sport.Es reports that Hammers’ representatives have already flown out to Spain in a bid to get the discussions underway.

But Inter are not about to give up easily.

They are also set to fly out club officials next week to try and negotiate contract terms with the player – as well as that sizeable transfer fee.

Barcelona are believed to rather sell than flog out on loan again.

Manuel Pellegrini is wasting no time on trying to put his stamp on the West Ham squad since taking over from David Moyes last month.

SunSport reported this morning that Yaya Toure could be set for a sensational switch to the London Stadium.

Back in 2013-14, Toure helped Pellegrini’s Manchester City side to the Premier League title, plundering 20 goals along the way.

He was pipped by then-Liverpool striker Luis Suarez to the player of the year award.

And now MailOnline are reporting how Toure, 35, could be reunited with Pellegrini in East London next season.

He is believed to be already discussing terms with the Hammers, although it is highly unlikely they would be able to match anywhere near the £220,000-a-week he was earning at the Etihad.
