West Ham ‘prepared to offer Lazio boss Simone Inzaghi five-year contract’ as pressure mounts on Slaven Bilic in disappointing season
WEST HAM are ready a shock move to for Lazio boss, Simone Inzaghi, according to reports in Italy.
Current manager, Slaven Bilic, is under intense pressure after a dismal run of form has seen the Hammers win just one of their last nine matches when much was expected following their big move to the London Stadium.
And Corriere dello Sport report the East London side are looking Inzaghi as a potential replacement — and are ready to offer him a five-year contract.
The younger brother of Filippo has enjoyed a fantastic first season at the helm of his former side, Lazio.

Inzaghi Jr. has led the club to fourth in Serie A and challenging for the final Champions League place.
Should he lead Lazio to higher than fifth or taste success in Italy’s No.1 domestic cup competition, there is a clause in his contract which triggers an automatic extension to 2019.
This is his first managerial role, having risen through the ranks after managing the club’s youth team.
Inzaghi enjoyed a distinguished playing, career, too — winning the Scudetto with Lazio under Sven Goran Eriksson in the 1999-2000 season.
He stayed with the club for over a decade until his retirement from playing and won the Coppa Italia three times as well as the Uefa Super Cup in 1999.
He was also only the second player — after Marco van Basten — to net four goals in a single Champions League match, when he achieved the feat against Marseille in 2000.
