London Marathon 2018 results – where did Mo Farah finish and who were the winners of the elite races?
SIR MO FARAH broke the British record as he finished third in the London Marathon.
Eliud Kipchop of Kenya won the men’s elite race as the Olympic champion won the London Marathon for the third time, ahead of Tola Shura Kitata of Ethiopia.
Kenya’s Vivian Cheruiyot smashed her personal best to win her first title in London.
She finished the London Marathon with a stunning two hours 18mins 31secs before Brigid Kosgel finished in second to make a Kenyan one-two.
It was a huge result for Cheruiyot after she misjudged the race last year, but she’s worked ever so hard and come back to run an immaculate race.
David Weir won his EIGHTH London Marathon as managed to come out on top over rival Marcel Hug.
The Weirwolf won in one hour 31min 15sec to take the crown he first won in 2002 and extended his record of victories over 26.2miles.
