Kate was one of the first names on Sky Sports News’ team-sheet for their big deadline day marathon, but now works for Fox Sports in the US, where she presented their coverage of Floyd Mayweather vs Conor McGregor.

Who is Kate Abdo?
Born Kate Giles in Manchester in September 1981, the presenter has risen to the top of the world in sports broadcasting.
Before joining Sky Sports, she had covered the 2010 World Cup for CNN.
Kate is fluent in FOUR languages – English, German, French and Spanish.
Before moving to Sky in the UK, she was lead anchor for Sky Sports in Germany.
She also fronted the prestigious Fifa Ballon D’or ceremonies in 2014, 2015 and 2016.
Kate is married to German businessman, Ramtin Abdo, the pair tying the knot in 2010.
Where is Kate Abdo working now?
Kate officially left Sky Sports to join US network Fox earlier this year in late January.
She wrote on Twitter when joining: “Absolutely delighted to join the @FOXSports family – a team I already know and love!”
