DAN BLOXHAM has one of the most important roles at Wimbledon.
And the Master of Ceremonies has also appeared on the Great British Menu.

Who is Dan Bloxham?
Dan Bloxham is a Level 5 tennis coach who holds a duel role at Wimbledon.
He is current head coach at the All England Club and has helped the likes of Andy Murray and Johanna Konta on the road to success.
And he is also the Wimbledon Master of Ceremonies.
What is a Master of Ceremonies?
The Master of Ceremonies’ role is technically to invite players to play on Centre Court.
He marches the two players to court before each game and is watched by around 150 million people on the walk before the final.
Bloxham is also the liaison between the Championship’s players and the tournament Referee.
He will inform the referee of what weather is expected for each match and whether the roof is likely to be closed.
Bloxham must also keep an eye on the trophy and endeavour to ensure all matches start on time.
Why is Dan Bloxham on Great British Menu?
The 2017 Great British Menu has a Wimbledon theme with the BBC celebrating 140 years of the tournament.
Each Friday a person working within British tennis is a guest judge.
Bloxham is judging the Wales group.
