Here is everything you need to know about her.

Who is Suzi Perry?

Suzi Perry was born in Cosford, Shropshire, in 1970.

She grew up in Wolverhampton and studied business studies and finance at Wolverhampton Polytechnic – now the University of Wolverhampton.

Following her graduation she spent a year modelling in Japan.

What TV shows has she presented?

From 1997, Perry spent 13 years presenting MotoGP on the BBC.

She then covered the Epson Derby and Royal Ascot before returning to motorsport in 2012.

In 2012 she became the first woman to front Formula One coverage in the UK, heading up the BBC team until 2015, when Sky Sports won the rights to the event.

Perry then joined BT Sport where she covers MotoGP and also presented this year’s Indy 500.

Additionally, Perry presented The Gadget Show from 2004 to 2012 and has recently made her own documentary on BBC – Queens of the Road.

In it, she covers three women – Melissa Kennedy, Veronika Hankocyova and Yvonne Montgomery – who star in amateur road racing at speeds over over 200mph in Northern Ireland.

Is Suzi Perry married and does she have kids?

Suzi Perry is married to her second husband, Dutch businessman Bastien Boosten.

She was previously married to model Steve Bullock.

After a number of miscarriages and a failed attempt at IV insemination, Perry last year admitted she had given up on having kids.

The presenter said: "I bumbled through life assuming I was going to have a family one day and it just didn't work out.

"It's something that I'll never, ever stop feeling sad about.

"However, I'm lucky to be a step-mum to Bastien's daughter Laurien. I've been in her life for ten years and she very much feels like a part of me."
