SAM POWELL sent Wigan to the Grand Final after an epic scare.
Hull stunned the Warriors by fighting back from 14-0 down to lead 18-16 in this crazy semi-final.
But with nine minutes left Powell slid over for the crucial try — adding to Lewis Tierney’s early double.
It was just as well for Warriors boss Shaun Wane after Steve Michaels’ score for Hull was given after endless video replays.
And Powell’s crucial try means Wigan will play Warrington at Old Trafford next Saturday, their fourth successive Grand Final. Presumably, after a lengthy chillout following last night’s madness.

When Marc Sneyd converted Michaels’ try from the touchline for a crucial lead, the game looked up for Wigan.
It was an amazing response from Hull, who lost skipper Gareth Ellis (thumb) and Sika Manu (back).
Yet Wigan were missing EIGHT first-teamers, including the suspended Ben Flower.
Wane’s men led through Tierney’s early double and a John Bateman score.
But Josh Bowden’s try gave Hull hope and Liam Watts touched down for 14-12.
Matty Smith’s penalty did not settle any nerves late on before Anthony Gelling went over to seal victory.
