WIMBLEDON first-timer Katie Boulter has put love on hold as she chases tennis glory.
The Leicester ace, 20, says the demands of life on the road as a pro player means there is little time for romance.
Katie, ranked 246 in the world, said: “I’m completely focused on my work right now and that’s it. Maybe one day after I retire, hopefully.
“Luckily enough, I have really close friends on tour that I travel with and that’s really it. I don’t need anything else.”
The starlet, given a wild card entry to the main draw, is known for her love of shopping and fashion, but is also an Xbox fan and keen pianist.
Katie added: “I want to be world No1. I am going to work as hard as I possibly can to become that.”
The tennis star revealed she had a famous hero, her own inventor grandfather Brian Gartshore.
He is the genius behind the anti-theft clothing tags seen around the world in shops.
