Even if you grew up and out of it, it was a big part of pretty much everybody’s life at some point.
The WWE is still going strong though, with a new generation of fans from small children to this fully grown adult, enthralled every week.
That diversity is what makes this year’s instalment of 2K’s annual video game so special.
You can be an adult, out of love with the sport, not having watched for years, and still have a blast.
Or you can be a young kid, wanting to be your favourite superstar from the 75-plus roster, becoming John Cena or Roman Reigns, like you dream of.
Anyone will have a good time on WWE 2K18, with its fast-paced, brutal and addictive action.
