WWE have announced a historic 50-man Royal Rumble will take place in Saudi Arabia.
The biggest wrestling promotion in the world have partnered with The Saudi General Sports Authority to present the Greatest Royal Rumble event at the King Abdullah Sports City in Jeddah.
And it will see some of the company’s top superstars such as John Cena, Triple H and Roman Reigns at the event on April 27.
Vince McMahon, WWE Chairman & CEO, said: “The Greatest Royal Rumble will be a spectacle of historic proportions.
“Our partnership with the Saudi General Sports Authority reflects a long-term commitment to present WWE’s world-class entertainment to a global audience on a grander scale than ever before.”
Royal Rumble matches in WWE usually have 30 competitors with only the 2011 showdown having 40.

The news comes after Dave Meltzer reported in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that a deal had been made with the Saudi General Sports Authority to host shows in the Middle Eastern Kindom.
WWE revealed the event is part of a 10-year strategic multiplatform partnership in support of Vision 2030, Saudi Arabia’s social and economic reform program, which sets out to diversify Saudi Arabia’s economy.

The winner of this year’s Rumble match, Shinsuke Nakamura, is also set to feature at the event to be held a couple of weeks after Wrestlemania.
The King of Strongstyle will take on AJ Styles for the WWE championship at the Showcase of Immortals in New Orleans on April 8.
