WWE legend Shane McMahon has successfully undergone hernia surgery.
The 48-year-old went under the knife last Friday in New York City.
A WWE statement confirmed: “Smackdown Live Commissioner Shane McMahon underwent a successful hernia surgery last Friday in New York, N.Y.
“McMahon is currently resting at home, but he’s feeling well and is excited to get back to work on Smackdown Live.”
The daredevil was in danger of missing WrestleMania 34 last month after another spell in hospital.
McMahon suffered diverticulitis in March but recovered in time to participate at the Showcase of the Immortals on April 8.
He and Daniel Bryan teamed-up to defeat Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn in New Orleans.
However, he was almost replaced by Chris Jericho after he contracted an infection during his stay in hospital.

Shane, son of WWE owner Vince McMahon, also competed last month at the Greatest Royal Rumble.
But he was left in a crumpled heap after the eventual Rumble winner Braun Strowman sent him crashing from the top rope through the announce table.
