He is thought to have aggravated the problem during a brutal Steel Cage match against Braun Strowman on Monday Night RAW last week.

Show will now travel to have the op on his right hip this Friday after it was delayed because of the deadly Hurricane Irma.

At 45, he has had a long and hard-fought career and is considering whether or not to pack his in-ring career in.

Show told WWE.com: “I have to have the hip resurfaced. There’s been some traumatic injury done to the hip in the match with Braun Strowman.

“It’s frustrating as hell to be in the best shape I’ve been in my career, but that match, I kind of put a lot out on the table and I’m paying the price for it now.
