The Undertaker linked with shock WWE SummerSlam return as he heads to New York City


THE UNDERTAKER “could return at any time” as speculation mounts the wrestling legend is set for a sensational comeback at SummerSlam.

The WWE icon had seemingly retired from wrestling earlier this year.

However, an image circulating online has got speculation mounting that the Dead Man could rise again.

Taker was spotted on a plane bound for New York earlier this morning, the location for Sunday’s SummerSlam extravaganza.

And the words of fellow wrestling legend Jim Ross have only added fuel to the flames that he is due for a mega return.

Good ‘Ol JR said: “Until he says he’s done he’s not done.

“Until The Undertaker says he’s done and it’s validated by the company and is signed off in that essence, for a lack of a better term, I still say Undertaker is active and could return and wrestle at any time.”

And the four-time WWE world champion might be heading to the Big Apple for revenge.

The 52-year-old ‘s career appeared to have come to an end at WrestleMania 33.

After losing against Roman Reigns, he looked as if he’d bowed out of the wrestling business for good as he left his iconic ring attire in the middle of the ring.

But the veteran could be set for a shocking return after being spotted on the aircraft heading towards the biggest event of the summer.

Reigns would appear to be his most likely target should he step foot inside the ropes again.

The “Big Dog” is preparing for a mammoth fatal four-way clash for the WWE title.

He will take on Brock Lesnar, Samoa Joe and Braun Strowman for the strap at the Barclays Centre in Brooklyn.

Since his epic loss back in April, Taker has undergone surgery for his troublesome.

He was snapped in May entering a New York hospital along with his wife, and fellow former WWE star, Michelle McCool.

It is believed he had been delaying hip replacement surgery until he quit the squared circle.
