NIKKI BELLA is reportedly in a state of “shock” after John Cena declared his wish to have kids with her just weeks after calling off their wedding.
The WWE superstars were set to get married this month but stunned the world when they announced in April they had ended their relationship.
Cena, 40, had continuously insisted he did not want children but now appears to be warming to the idea as he dropped a major hint he wants to get back together with the reality TV beauty.
Speaking on the Today Show, the 16-time world champion said: “I love her. I want to be with her. I want to make her my wife. I want to be the father of her children. I just want us to work.”
He added that “there was an unfortunate set of circumstances where [my] relationship [with Nikki] ended.
“There’s been a lot of speculation recently of me being seen in public, and everyone is thinking John Cena is enjoying the single life.
“No. I was supposed to be married and have a honeymoon over these two weeks.”
Obviously stunned by these remarks, Nikki, whose real name is Stephanie Nicole Garcia-Colace, is understandably “concerned” by Cena’s U-turn.

A source told US Magazine: “Nikki isn’t surprised that John is publicly saying that he wants to get back together with her but she has been shocked that he is saying he now wants to have kids, with her.
“Nikki had been very open with John about wanting to have kids, but he had always resisted.”

Cena and Bella had been together for six years and were due to tie the knot on May 5.
The Leader of the Cenation popped the question to the ex-Divas champ at WrestleMania 33 last year.
But the relationship began to fall apart earlier this year as tensions mounted with rumours speculating the split was due to Cena not wanting to have children.
The wrestling legend tweeted another message this afternoon that suggests he wants to give it another go.
Cena wrote: “Lack of communication is many times what causes people to drift apart, lack of forgiveness is many times what causes people to stay apart.”
