THE British fans were fired up last night as Raw came to the O2 in London. And with Money
in the Bank just weeks away on June 17, the stakes were high.
Here are five big things we learnt from attending Raw.
Jinder Mahal is finally over
Forget the WWE Championship, Punjabi Prison matches, and the Great Khali.
All it took to get Jinder over was a feud with Roman Reigns – because the fans will cheer ANYONE against Roman.
The London crowd savaged Reigns in the opening segment and cheered when Kurt Angle denied him a match against Jinder.
But Roman wanted payback for Jinder interfering in his match last week, so found the
Maharajah backstage and gave him a beating that spilled back into the arena.
Fans cheered Jinder’s comebacks, but Reigns put him out of commission in a second attack
later in show – spearing Jinder through a (fake) wall.
Ronda Rousey has a title shot at Money in the Bank
Footage was shown from a red carpet even in New York, where Ronda Rousey was giving an
interview about her WrestleMania debut.
Nia Jax appeared and offered Rousey a match for the Raw Women’s Championship at MITB.
It was all a bit clunky as Ronda turned down the offer at first, claiming that other women
were more deserving – but Charlotte Flair encouraged Rousey to accept the challenge.
It’s early for a title shot – and the limited Nia Jax certainly isn’t an ideal opponent for Ronda,
who’s still new to the game – but WWE might have something up its sleeve for this match.

Sami Zayn will bring Bobby Lashley’s sisters to Raw next week
After Lashley’s weird, horribly cheesy interview last week – in which he prattled on about
how much he loved his sisters – Sami Zayn claimed there’s more to Lashley’s story.
He came cut a brilliant promo (seriously, Zayn is an underrated genius on the mic) and
berated Lashley.
He was upset that Lashey had given him vertigo with a big vertical suplex three weeks ago
and has even stolen his trademark hat style.
Zayn said he’s tracked down Lashley’s three sisters on Facebook and will bring them to Raw
next week – so they can expose the real Bobby Lashley.
We’re looking forward to seeing how this plays out. Though it’s hard luck for Zayn, who’s
sure to take a pummeling as part of the returning Lashley’s big push.
Curtis Axel and Bo Dallas are now the B-Team
In an amusing backstage skit, the former Miztourage told Kurt Angle they’ve renamed
themselves the “B-Team” (because the the “A-Team” is already taken, apparently).
They said that the Miztourage had a win record of 0, but the B-Team are undefeated. The
duo then surprised even themselves when they beat Breezango.
The London crowd was fully behind Axel and Dallas and sang the A-Team theme tune during
their match.
If WWE plays it right, the B-Team could get over as jobbers-done- good, in the same way
Heath Slater, James Ellsworth, and even Curtis Axel’s old “Axelmania” gimmick did.
Kevin Owens, Bobby Roode and Alexa Bliss are all going to Money in the Bank
Kevin Owens lost a sizzling match against IC champ Seth Rollins, but had a second shot when
he replaced the injured Jinder in a MITB qualifier.
KO beat Elias and Bobby Lashley in a triple-threat when his pal Sami Zayn came out to attack
Lashley.
The fans booed Lashley. Was this just the rowdy UK crowd having fun? Or the start of a
revolt against the dull and personality-free Lashley?
Bobby Roode also qualified for MITB when he won a triple-threat against last year’s winner
Baron Corbin and No Way Jose.
Alexa Bliss thenqualified for the women’s MITB in yet another triple-threat against Mickie
James and Bayley, when Miss Bliss planted Bayley with a hard DDT.
