WWE superstar Jason Jordan is set for a year out after undergoing neck surgery.
The Monday Night RAW ace has been suffering from the disc problem for the last month.
The 29-year-old – real name Nathan Everhart – has been in a huge amount of pain, and was forced to have the operation.
WWE Medical Director Dr Joseph Maroon said: “He had an injury to a disc in his neck which resulted in significant pain that was refractory to all conservative measure.
“It was decided to do a minimally invasive operation to decompress the nerve, to allow it to heal.”
The surgery he underwent is called minimally invasive posterior cervical microdiscectomy.
The WWE refused to reveal how long he will be out for.
