ZINEDINE ZIDANE has blasted Real Madrid’s Fifa-imposed transfer ban as absurd.
The Spanish giants and their city rivals Atletico had their appeals denied over a two-window suspension from registering new players.
Champions League winners Real are planning to take the decision to the Court of Arbitration for Sport which has left Zidane fuming.
Zidane said: “I do not understand it and it annoys me. It is absurd.
“The club want this changed quickly and I hope it will be.”
Zidane also could not understand how his four sons were among the players that sparked Fifa’s sanctions against his club.
He added: “My kids were born here and have spent their whole lives here, so it is absurd they cannot play football.”

The ban means Real will not be able to add to their squad until 2018.
Barcelona had a similar ban imposed on them in 2015 but added to their squad while the case was being decided.
Zidane said: “I am very happy with the squad we have. We have a big squad, 24 players available.”
