Nola.com reports that a 49-year-old cyclist was shot in the back while riding in New Orleans Saturday.
Christopher Weiss was riding with a group of 10 Saturday morning. He was taken to University Hospital where doctors determined he was not at risk of serious injury.
The New Orleans Police Department confirmed to Nola.com that Weiss had suffered a gunshot wound.
