The Brumbies have announced that young back-row Rob Valetini has signed an Extended Playing Squad contract for the 2017 Super Rugby season.
The 18-year-old Victorian played for Grand Finalists the Rebels U20s in last year’s Super U20s competition, impressing with his strong carrying and work rate throughout the tournament.
Valetini linked up with the Melbourne Rising for the 2016 National Rugby Championship season, appearing off the bench in their semi-final clash with New South Wales Country.
A skilled player who oozes potential, Valetini will be looking forward to establishing himself with the Brumbies in 2017.
