Following a meeting of the Cardiff Blues board on Monday, the decision was made to redouble efforts to secure a long-term home with a 'fit for purpose' stadium and therefore alternative options away from Cardiff Arms Park will be explored.
Following 10 years of negotiations, Cardiff Blues have been unable to reach an agreement with Cardiff Athletic Club (CAC) to extend the current lease at Cardiff Arms Park, which expires in four years.
The board are in agreement that they must future proof Cardiff Blues by exploring alternative options away from Cardiff Arms Park.
There are a number of exciting opportunities available and the executive have been instructed to take these forward.
