France’s Guilhem Guirado a doubt for Wales clash

La Rochelle hooker Pierre Bourgarit has been handed a call-up to the France squad with captain Guilhem Guirado a doubt for their game against Wales.

Guirado was substituted in the 67th minute of their encounter with England at the weekend after suffering an injury.

Adrien Pelissie came on in his place and looks set to start should the skipper be ruled out. Racing 92’s Camille Chat is another option in the front-row but Bourgarit has been added to the group following a fine run of form in the Top 14 and Champions Cup.

Meanwhile, Arthur Iturria has been recalled due to Romain Taofifenua’s injury, which forced the Toulon second-row to miss their clash against the Red Rose.
