Jack Willis out for up to a year

Wasps have announced that flanker Jack Willis will be sidelined for between nine and twelve months after suffering a serious knee injury.

Following consultation with a specialist, it has been determined that Willis sustained a significant multi-ligament injury to his right knee during last Saturday’s Premiership semi-final defeat to Saracens. This includes a rupture of his anterior cruciate ligament (ACL).

That means the promising forward, who was recently named in the England squad, will be out for up to a year in a blow for the youngster.
