Fiji captain Akapusi Qera wants to cause an opening day shock at the World Cup when he leads his charges against England at Twickenham on Friday.
The former Gloucester back-row, who was a team-mate of Jonny May and Ben Morgan, skippers a Fijian outfit that recently won the Pacific Nations Cup.
And he is confident the islanders can give England a real test this week.
"We've been picked for this squad for a reason, and that is to play against England and do all we can to topple them on their home ground," he told Sky Sports.
"This World Cup in England is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity: we're not going to let it pass us by."
"Friday night is a massive, massive opportunity for Fiji."
Fiji are fourth favourites to win Pool A and after taking on England will meet Australia, Wales and finally Uruguay as they look to make the knockouts.
