Another busy day in the rugby union game as we named our Six Nations Team of the Week following the weekend’s action.
What’s on the site
Ireland claimed the Grand Slam and produced the best performance of the weekend, but several individuals impressed for Italy and were rewarded by being named in our Team of the Week.
On the subject of the Azzurri, we have taken a more in-depth look at their campaign in State of the Nation.
As well as the Six Nations, there was plenty of action in Super Rugby and we have a Team of the Week from round 5, while ‘hot and not’ returns.
What’s in the news
Rhys Webb may have played his last game for the Ospreys and Wales after being ruled out for the remainder of the season following knee surgery.
Munster have also suffered disappointing news on the injury front with Tyler Bleyendaal and Duncan Williams joining Webb on the sidelines, while Keith Earls could be another lengthy absentee should the injury he suffered against England be serious.
In Super Rugby, Reds’ back Karmichael Hunt has received a four-match ban and fined AUS$10,000 after being arrested in December.
What’s on social media
The Triple Crown trophy still had to go through all the correct airport procedures before being taken to Ireland!

What’s on TV
The Six Nations may be over but there is still plenty of rugby to enjoy, with Super Rugby, PRO14 and Top 14 all taking place on Sky Sports this weekend.
In the Premiership, there are four matches on BT Sport with Bath v Exeter kicking off proceedings on Friday night. Saracens and Harlequins then go head-to-head at the London Stadium before Newcastle Falcons face Northampton Saints at St James’ Park, the home of the football team. A Midlands’ derby completes the action when Leicester and Wasps face-off.
