Prop Wyn Jones has been released from the Wales squad due to a hamstring injury sustained in Wales' Six Nations match against Ireland at the weekend.
Jones has been utilised as a late replacement for Rob Evans in Wales' win over Scotland and defeats by England and Ireland.
Wales have decided not to call up a replacement for the 26-year-old, with Ospreys prop Nicky Smith the other option in the loosehead department.
Wales host Italy in Cardiff on March 11 before concluding their Six Nations Championship against France a week later, also at the Principality Stadium.
