Aston Villa add Birkir Bjarnason to James Bree capture

The 28-year-old midfielder arrives at the club on a three-and-a-half-year deal from Basel. Bjarnason, an Icelandic international, has also had spells at Standard Liege, Pescara and Sampdoria.
