Report: Texan President Jamey Rootes Resigns


Rootes has been with the Texans for over two decades

Texans President Jamey Rootes is resigning from his position, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter and John McClain of The Houston Chronicle.

Sports Illustrated's Jenny Vrentas and Greg Bishop previously reported that Rootes was considering resigning earlier this year.

Rootes has been with the Texans for more than 20 years. No official announcement by the team has been made yet.
