Sports fans will now be able to play while they eat. Buffalo Wild Wings have announced the launch of their new GameBreak feature, a single sign-on, multi-platform gaming experience that allows people to play competitive and fantasy-style sports games in the restaurants.
GameBreak will allow guests to play in daily and season long games, exclusive games and special events that coincide with live sporting events. They will be able to earn points every time they play and win prizes based on their performance against the leader board, while also being able to access sports content, share game play information on social media, and create leagues for their friends.
It will feature three games at launch, with plans to release additional games as more sporting events become available. One of the games is GameBreak Live, an in-restaurant game that tests the user’s sports knowledge by asking questions on live sporting events. The second is Pro-Football Salary Cap Challenge, a fantasy football-style game where users create a weekly roster of eight pro football players under a virtual budget. The last game is the Pro Football Pick’em Challenge, which is designed to test a user’s skill in picking the winner of the weekly pro football matchups.
With the launch of the new gaming experience, Buffalo Wild Wings is offering season-long prizes and weekly prizes to winners, such as gift cards valued at $50. Buffalo Wild Wings is also offering one winner a $10,000 “Ultimate VIP Ticket Experience” that includes two premium seats to every home game of any football team of choice. The games are also accessible through the web and through mobile devices.
