Every once in a while an idea comes along that makes us scratch our heads… we ask, “Should this exist?”

Buck French, Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Fantex, the only brokerage for stock linked to a pro athlete’s brand, seeks to explain what exactly him and his team are up to and help us all understand how a radical new idea can become a success.

In this episode, French and I find some common ground on Fantex to understand what it means for athletes, fans, and investors. Prior to getting into the ring with Fantex, French had a lot of success with companies he built in the 1990s and early 2000s. An entrepreneur at heart, he shares a few of his secrets that he hopes will ensure the adoption of Fantex as a legitimate way for fans and athletes to interact. Not to mention, he gives some great book recommendations at the end of the episode. Enjoy!
